Michele Shaw 
Director 
    Michele Shaw has taught and choreographed at various studios and workshops throughout her 40 years of teaching. She has taught at workshops for Maine Dance Teachers Club. Choregraphed dances for Rockport High School 42ND St., Andy Diske Never Land Theatres, Annie and Bye Bye Birdie.  Her students have performed in Disney at Magic Kingdom, Epcot and City Walk in Universal Studios FL. She even choreographed a dance for a low budget film at Stillington Hall called The Run Away. 

    She began her dance training at the age of 2 in Gloucester Ma. She trained, taught and choreographed at Miss Tina's Dance Studio. Michele has 40 years of deep diverse teaching experience with all levels and ages. She has judged for Olympic Miss Pageant and Sables Dance Club. Michele has received many choreography awards. Michele is trained in all areas of dance and continues to train every day. 

    Michele has a passion for the arts which she brings to her students, her classes, and her choreography. Her enthusiastic classes focus on always making a point to have fun!
About Us
Michele Shaw and her staff are committed to guide, educate and inspire their students with the highest standards of dance education. Michele has over 35 years of experience in teaching dance through workshops and studios across the North Shore. She has a passion for the arts which she brings to her students, her classes and her choreography. Michele's enthusiastic classes focus on the joy of dancing through positive encouragement and making a point to have some fun through movement. This "joy" and "fun" shows on the face of her students aging from 2 through their 20s. 

Michele Shaw's Elite Dance Centre provides opportunities for dancers to develop their talents to their fullest potential, benefiting themselves, their families and our community. Classes run on a weekly basis with an annual recital held late spring to showcase our students accomplishments.
